As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another congress for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format written using one of our templates.
  • My abstract complies with abstract guidelines.
  • I have read presentation guidlines.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Content: Your paper mustn't be original (plagiarism will result in rejection) and it mustn't be previously published. 
  • Language: English
  • File format: .docx, .doc
  • Structure: Abstract must be structured and containing following parts Background, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Please use one of our word templates: Abstract Template or Case Report Template
  • Word count: Do not exceed 300 words. Title, Author names, Section titles and keywords are not counted.
  • Title: The title must be short, clearly indicating the objective of the research. Only first letter of each word in the title should be capital. Do not include any abbreviations or commercial names of the drugs.
  • Author names: Full name of the first author should be written in CAPITAL LETTERS, and the name of co-author(s) in lower-case letters.  Author submitting an abstract to OJS platform will be considered as corresponding author. Email address used for registration will be considered as email adress for correspondence.
  • Keywords: Please write 3-5 keywords that suit your resarch.
  • Tables, charts, pictures, links: Your abstract must be plain text. Any tables, charts, pictures and etc. should only be in your powerpoint presentation.

Presentation Guidlines

  • All papers will be presented oraly.
  • Your presentation slides must be in English although you can present in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and English.
  • Presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) and also exported to PDF.
  • Name your presentation as submissionnumber_surname_name_title 
  • Every participant will be given 7 minutes for their presentation after which 3 minute discussion will follow. 
  • Every presentation that lasts longer than 7 minutes will receive negative points.
  • Only one author can be a presenter.
  • Authors must sent their presentations (both PPT and PDF files) to amina.mustacevic@tbw.sv-medicus.ba before 2nd March.
  • Bring your presentation on a CD/USB on the day of your presentation.
  • Presenters must report to the registration desk half an hour before your scheduled oral presentation.
